After countless reports of first responders losing their shears at nighttime accident scenes, we developed our RS-3F FIREFLY as a high-visibility solution under any lighting conditions. Day or night, you'll be able to find your equipment. We added fluorescent orange handles to our 420J stainless Titanium Carbon Nitride (TiCN) shears and infused our reinforced polymer RS-3 FIREFLY RIPPER with Glow-In-The-Dark (GITD) pigment to provide hours of luminescence in low-light scenarios.

RIPSHEARS will easily slice through multiple layers of clothing, denim, leather, neoprene wetsuits, aramid textiles (Nomex, Kevlar, etc.), Chemical Biological and Radiological Nuclear suits (CBRN), bandages, sports wraps, plastic packaging, seat belts, tactical nylon webbing, and much more! The RS-2 Ripper unit features an integrated O2 wrench, stainless steel hardware, and our proprietary, user-replaceable DLC-coated 440A stainless steel razor blades.

RIPSHEARS RS-3F FIREFLY is made in the USA with TAA-compliant imported shears. CE-approved. Autoclavable to 143C/289F.
